Statement on the Passing of Roger Bedford Jr.

Montgomery, AL – The Alabama Democratic Party offers the following statement on the passing of Senator Roger Bedford Jr.

“Senator Roger Bedford Jr. was a force in Alabama politics for nearly three decades.  An accomplished litigator, Senator Bedford Represented then-District 6 with tenacity while serving for 14 years on the Senate General Fund Committee.  His leadership and commitment to the people of Alabama will long be remembered.  

The Alabama Democratic Party offers our sincerest condolences to Senator Bedford’s Family, including his son Roger Bedford III, friends, and other loved ones"
