Candidate qualifying for the August 11, 2026 Special State Senate Primary Election is open. Candidate qualifying will close on Tuesday, June 2nd at 8 AM.
Those wishing to qualify in state senate districts 25 or 26 can complete the process online at aldemocrats.org.
While we strongly encourage everyone looking to qualify to use the online option, those wishing to submit their paperwork in-person may visit the Alabama Democratic Party Headquarters during the operating hours listed on the Party website.
