The Alabama Democratic Party Extends Qualifying Deadline for Congressional Races

The Alabama Democratic Party will extend the candidate qualifying period for congressional races in the 2022 election cycle to Friday, February 11th at 5 PM.

This is in response to guidance issued from the Alabama Secretary of State’s office regarding the recent ruling in federal court.

All other state and county candidates must still qualify by 5pm on Friday, January 28, 2022.
