Though Judge Sue Bell Cobb’s decision to resign as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court is an incredible loss for Alabama, Alabama Democrats commended her for her decades of public service since she first took judicial office as Conecuh County District Judge thirty years ago.
“This is an incredible loss for the state of Alabama,” said ADP Chairman Judge Mark Kennedy. “Chief Justice Cobb has done a fantastic job managing the court system and we wish her the best in her future endeavours. Her leadership, sound judgment, and tireless work ethic have had a lasting positive impact on our courts.”
