Birther Nonsense

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Beating a dead horse?" My mother raised me to know when to let things go. Some Republicans in Alabama, however, can't seem to let things go so easily.

When President Obama released his long-form birth certificate, all doubts about his citizenship should have been put to bed. In the past month alone, though, the Republicans have dragged that dead horse to court three separate times -- forcing the Alabama Democratic Party to defend the President's citizenship. What a waste of the judicial system's time and the tax payer's dime!

Enough is enough.

As much as Republicans advocate for tort reform in this state, it's amazing how eager they are to take folks to court over something silly. With your recurring $5 or $10 contribution, you'll be helping us pay down the costly legal fees we've racked up trying to shut up these Republican Birthers.
